Required Materials:

-Galaxy S2 with at least 50% battery life (it really should have 100% battery life) running Android 4.1.1 or 4.1.2
-Internet connected PC
-USB cord
-About 1 to 2 hours of free time

Step 1 – Preparation

-Download and install the official Samsung USB Developers Drivers from here
-Download the Jeboo kernel onto your PC
-Download Odin 3.0.7 software onto your PC
-Download the Superuser file

Step 2 – Rooting

-Turn off your Galaxy S2. Once it’s completely powered off, hold down the Volume Down button, the Center Home button, and the Power button. Continue holding until you see a warning screen, at which point you have to press Volume Up to confirm a restart in Download mode.
-Unzip the Odin files you downloaded in Step 1 and run the .exe file inside to install Odin software
-Connect your Galaxy S2 to your PC
-Run Odin and hit the ‘PDA’ button, which should be in the checklist below the Start button
-Choose the Jeboo Kernel.tar file you downloaded in Step 1
-Hit ‘Start’ to begin flashing the kernel. Once you see the word ‘Pass’ on your screen, your Galaxy S2 will restart.
-Download the Superuser file onto your phone (or, if you can’t download a file to your phone, copy the file over from your PC)
-Turn off your phone and restart in Download Mode once again (hold Volume Up, Home, and Power together). Your phone will reboot in ClockWorkMod Recovery mode.
-Choose the ‘install.zip’ command, which should be the second option on the list
-Choose whether you’re downloading from an internal SD card (you downloaded the file to your phone) or from an external SD card (you downloaded the file to your PC)
-Find the Superuser file and tap it (if you downloaded it onto your phone, it will most likely be in your S2’s Downloads folder)
-Choose the CWM-SuperSU-v.0.00.zip file to install both SuperUser and the SU binary to your Galaxy S2
-Click ‘Yes’ when prompted to complete installation
-Reboot your phone and, on restart, click on the app called SuperSU. Give that app superuser permission when prompted. Once you’ve done that, your Galaxy S2 should be officially rooted.
